The husband and wife team of Dan Proft and Amy Jacobson co-host Chicago’s Morning Answer, one of the top rated talk radio shows in that market. I have been privileged to be a guest on their show a number of times. They are very smart and well-informed.
Dan also hosts The Dan Proft Show. Yesterday I was Dan’s guest, and the topic was the recent orgy of social justice rioting and looting in Democrat-led cities across America.
As a bit of inside baseball, when Dan’s producer contacted me about appearing on the show, he said that the topic was going to be my American Spectator article about LancetGate. So I carefully prepared to discuss that topic and lined up my source materials so that I wouldn’t vapor lock and go catatonic for lack of a correct response to an unexpected question. But the news cycle being what it is, thirty seconds before going on air, the producer asked if, instead of LancetGate, I would be able to discuss the death of George Floyd and its aftermath. Sure, I gulped. Why not?
Click here for the audio of that interview. If you detect a bit of hemming and hawing on my part, now you know why it happened.
